Unlike the U.K., France, or Ireland, Japan has no strict rules to ensure fairness between pro/contra campaigns.
This means wealthier forces can dominate public opinion through massive ad spending.
Democracy cannot function under such conditions.
We need the same strict media regulations other democracies already have.
